YOUR WORD...
Dear Revivals Shoppers,
I walked into Revivals to consign my clothes for Spring, Robin had on a beautiful necklace and a great belt . I asked her where she had bought the items. As always she looked so put together. She laughed and said "Of course at Revivals". Needless to say, Off they came...Now that's personal shopping!!I called her later on that day to tell her how many compliments I had gotten on that necklace and belt.
Thanks Robin!

THE FINAL WORD...
An essential aspect of putting together a long-lasting wardrobe- one that grows and matures with you, as it were- is figuring out how to dress your body to look it's best. It you don't ever figure that out, you can buy the most beautiful clothes in the world and still end up with a closet filled with pieces that you consistently put on, take one look at in the mirror, and then ripoff and stuff back into the closet. I don't care if you are a size four or size fourteen to a size twenty, every women I know thinks she has a fit problem. I've never seen one women who goes into the dressing room and says, "Wow, I look great! Everything always fits me so perfectly!" When it comes to a women's body insecuriities, I hear everything from "I hate my hair" to "My stomach sticks out" and "My hips are too wide" to "I hate my legs". What it really comes down to is that we're all looking to clothes to hide our so- called problem areas and cloak our insecurities.
Over and over again I have tried to brainwash my customers to not to pay attention to whatever size the label says. It's the fit that's important. You have got to remember that only you know the size anyway. What everyone sees is how the clothing fits you. Believe me, a garment that fits properly will flatter you much more than one that is too tight but that has that coveted low-number size on the tag. There is no magic formula for dressing that'll guarantee you a skinny new look. You need to learn to be content within your own skin and dress accordingly.
